The canal passes the western side of the village of Berriew. Some of the gardens extend all the way to the west bank.

Dredger in the Montgomery Canal
Looking slightly drunk, although it didn't appear to have shipped any water, this dredger was 'parked' by the tow path opposite Glan Camlas (Canal bank), Berriew.
