Parsons Bank, Llanfair Caereinion
The pub on the left, advertising live rugby, is the Black Lion; there is also a Red Lion in the village. The red brick building dates from 1893 when it replaced a rather charming market hall. Just beyond that part of the former HSBC bank can be seen.

South door, St Mary's Llanfair Caereinion
This church was completely rebuilt in 1858 but records show a church on this site since 1239. The use of pink sandstone for window mullions and around the south doorway is quite striking.
