The Red Lion, Llanfair Caereinion
This is the centre of Llanfair Caereinion with the Red Lion pub on the right (there is also a Black Lion), a butcher's shop and fish and chip shop.

Parsons Bank, Llanfair Caereinion
The pub on the left, advertising live rugby, is the Black Lion; there is also a Red Lion in the village. The red brick building dates from 1893 when it replaced a rather charming market hall. Just beyond that part of the former HSBC bank can be seen.
