St Cadfan's church, Llangadfan
Believed to have been built in the 15th century (although the heavily rendered walls make dating difficult), the original church is said to have been founded by St Cadfan, a Breton missionary who became the first abbot of the monastery on Bardsey Island in c.604. Cann Office Hotel, Llangadfan
No, not a business centre. The name is actually derived from 'Cae'n y ffos', meaning fortified or ditched enclosure http://people.bath.ac.uk/liskmj/living-spring/sourcearchive/fs9/fs9lm1.htm , and an old earthwork belonging to a twelfth century motte and bailey is in the inn's back-garden.

Sign for the Cann Office Hotel
The sign for the pub which stands on a motte and bailey. An ancient inn which became a staging post on the road from Aberdyfi to Shrewsbury with the introduction of the mail service in the mid 17th century. The innkeeper became the postmaster. 'Cann' = can (of ale).
