Above the River Severn
The road out of Hafren Forest towards Geufron climbs away from the river, which can just be seen in a steep gorge. The house is on the road at SN873865.

A geological notice
It explains the geological history of the 'Hafren Drinking Stone', so called as legend suggests that it descends to the river each night for a drink (as the stone is frequently wet in the morning).
