New gate and old stile
I'm all for old, and often awkward, wooden stiles being replaced with metal gates but surely the people who install the new should remove the old? Or the farmer? This one has been overlooked I expect. Like the two dead sheep in the barn nearby.

Gnarled old oak tree at Llwynybrain Farm
This old tree could tell a story or two if it could speak. It's like my mental image of an Ent from Lord of the Rings. Not Treebeard but one of his fellow Ents. The electricity pole gives scale. My guestimate is that it is 200-300 years old and has been in this blasted and decorticated state for many years too. What a specimen.
