Latham Park, Newtown
Named after former Wales international footballer George Latham, a native of Newtown, Latham Park is a multipurpose stadium. It is currently the home ground of Newtown F.C. (football club).

G. F. Grigg Latham Park
Newtown purchased this site in the late 1940's. The ground is named Latham Park to honour a local sporting hero- Captain George Latham- who played for Liverpool, Stoke City & Cardiff, also winning 12 caps for Wales. He later became Cardiff City trainer and held that position when Cardiff City had their historic F.A. Cup victory over Arsenal in 1926/7. G F Grigg Construction currently sponsor the ground.
