Former Charity School, Princes Street
From tablet on the wall in picture "In 1548 a grammar school which had existed in Montgomery from pre-Reformation times, received the royal entitlement to continue teaching. On this site and in this house the Town Charity School has been identified as far back as 1747. Here the last resident Headmaster, Abraham Bagley, relinquished his post when the present LEA School was opened in 1865" Strangely the building is not listed despite its importance.

The Robber's Grave, St Nicholas churchyard
You can read some details of the legend here https://web.archive.org/web/20100921101509/http://www.bbc.co.uk/wales/mid/sites/montgomery/pages/robbers_grave.shtml . Apparently the condemned man declared his innocence and prayed that God would not allow the grass to grow on his grave for a hundred years as a sign of his innocence. His grave remained bare for at least a century. It is now more than 100 years since his hanging and there seems to be plenty of grass and a briar rose growing on the plot.
