Parish Church of St. Chad
Hanmer Parish Church is in the Diocese of St. Asaph and located in the county of Wrexham. The church occupies a site overlooking Hanmer Mere. Fire caused considerable damage to the church in 1889 but following repairs the church was reopened in April 1892
