The Bird in Hand, Coton Hill
One of three pubs on this road (along with the Royal Oak and Woodman). The website whatpub.com says it was formerly owned by the nearby Southams brewery which closed in 1966, then run by the same licensee from 1975 to 2020.

The Royal Oak pub, Coton Hill
The Royal Oak isn't necessarily as old as it's trying to appear; it's probably early 20th century, although it may have an older building at its core. It was Grade II listed https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1271070 & https://britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/101271070-the-royal-oak-public-house-shrewsbury in 1972.
