Carved stone post by the B5063, in parish of WELSHAMPTON AND LYNEAL (NORTH SHROPSHIRE District), Balmer Heath, by the road, on North side of road. Erected by the Wem to Bron y Garth turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- WEM 6 M ELLESMERE 3 M (TURNPI??)KE Shropshire HER.
