Shrewsbury Sixth Form College - the main building
Erected in 1910 as a commission by the architect Frank Shayler for the Shropshire County Council, at the time as the Priory School for Boys. There have been some changes and modifications over the years, but fundamentally it's not that far from the original design. Shrewsbury Sixth Form College - The Priory Building
The main building seen here on the left behind the trees (and essentially above the red car) is The Priory Building of the Sixth Form College, which dates from the early 1800s, and was Grade II listed https://www.britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/101059005-shrewsbury-sixth-form-college-the-priory-shrewsbury#.WsO5V9QrLGg in 1953. It was originally built as a town house, and later extended, altered and incorporated into the Boys' School buildings.

A good example of the William and Mary style, it was built as a secondary school by Frank Shayler & J.A. Swan, 1910-11. Grade II listed.

Possible OS benchmark - 8 St Austins Street
The maps show a benchmark here, and this has (almost) all the appearance of one, except that the 'crowsfoot' part only has 2 legs rather than the conventional 3. If it IS such a mark, then it was cut in 1967 and levelled at 54.588m above Ordnance Datum Newlyn. On the other hand, it may be some sort of mason's mark, similar to a couple of others in the town, such as
