The righthand half of a property known as 22 Belmont, which dates from the late 18th century, and which attracted a Grade II listing https://britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/101246514-22-belmont-shrewsbury#.XJsrppj7RPY in 1972. The lefthand half Image is very similar, and it's thought that they were originally separate houses.

A pair of rather attractive and well kept, early 19th century, town houses on Belmont, which were collectively Grade II listed https://britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/101246490-20-and-21-belmont-shrewsbury#.XJsyqZj7RPY in 1972.

Grade II listed https://britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/101246513-18-and-19-belmont-shrewsbury#.XJszfpj7RPY in 1972, and built in the early 19th century, nos 18 & 19 sit in the middle of a group of similar properties.

A relatively modest, early 18th century town house, built in 1736, and Grade II listed https://britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/101271324-22a-belmont-shrewsbury#.XJsq_Jj7RPY in 1972.

Seen here is the rear of two houses/offices on Belmont, which are actually quite hard to view properly from the front because the street is rather narrow. Anyway, this looks like their best side, as it has a grand view out over the river. Nos 14 & 15 date from the late 18th century, and were collectively Grade II* listed https://britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/101271330-14-and-15-belmont-shrewsbury#.YrQWNHbMI2w & https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1271330 in 1969.

Belmont and the surrounding streets are a maze of little gems with a wide range of properties, both grand and less grand. Well worth exploring on foot.
