5 & 6 St John's Hill, Shrewsbury
Dating from the mid 18th century as seen now, these two small shops are likely to be re-facings of earlier (timber-framed) houses, and were collectively Grade II listed https://www.britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/101059010-5-and-6-st-johns-hill-shrewsbury#.WsXLPvnwaM8 in 1972.

38 St John's Hill, Shrewsbury
Like many commercial premises in Shrewsbury, this building started life as a house in the town, but has been converted to a shop since its original construction by the insertion of a new frontage and facilities into the ground floor. It dates to around 1800, and was Grade II listed https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1059019 & https://britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/101059019-38-st-johns-hill-shrewsbury in 1972.

3 & 4 St John's Hill, Shrewsbury
A pair of (possibly) late 17th century timber-framed houses, converted to shops at a later date, and Grade II listed https://www.britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/101058988-3-and-4-st-johns-hill-shrewsbury#.WsXKHPnwaM8 in 1972. The timber framing is still exposed on the gable wall off-shot to the left of this photo, but has otherwise been covered by brick facing.

11 Cross Hill, Shrewsbury
The 18th century house occupies a corner which gives it an address of 11 Cross Hill and 10a St Johns Hill. The groundfloor shop front on the left is a later (19th century) insertion into the building, which was Grade II listed https://britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/101270894-11-cross-hill-shrewsbury#.Y_chWXbP02w & https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1270894 in 1972.
