Part of the indoor market in Shrewsbury
Shrewsbury's indoor market, as with many an indoor market, is an absolute gem, like a town in miniature, with a wide range of stalls manned by interesting stallholders and all offering a welcome alternative to high street blandness and homogenous sameness and rip-off prices. Here you find personal service, great value for money and more than a whiff of an almost vanished Britain. I particularly recommend the cafe's and the seafood / fish stall!
