The Jack Mytton Inn, Hindford
This former farmhouse turned pub has had a rather chequered history. It reopened in 2015 after a lengthy closure but closed again in early 2018 and was put up for sale. Things are beginning to deteriorate in this October view. Jack Mytton was an eccentric local squire in the 19th century who died a drunkard in a debtors' prison at the age of 37.
