St Martins Centre, St Martins
The centre is situated next door to Stans Superstore. It is the hub of many village activities such as the Youth Club, Day Centre for adults with learning difficulties, Age Concern, Play school and has a very well equipped IT room and many more activities too numerous to mention here.

Ifton Miners' Welfare Institute
Ifton Pit became Shropshire's biggest Colliery and belonged to the North Wales Coal Fields. The Ifton Miners' Band used to rehearse in the Institute, or the "Stiwt", as it was known.

Former Church School, St Martins
The school was for the education of 12 poor female children, "in the Doctrines of the Established Church". The building was previously almshouses dated 1698 but were altered in 1810 to become the church school.
