Steps into Oswestry Castle Grounds
Viewed across Chapel Street near the corner of Arthur Street. Slate plaques on the wall record that the grounds were restored by public subscription in commemoration of Queen Victoria's Golden Jubilee in 1887. The grounds were officially opened to the public on June 24th 1890. In the middle of the grounds are these fragmentary remains of Oswestry Castle. http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/4172468
