Clawdd Du, Oswestry
Although Oswestry is in Shropshire, England, some 5 miles (8km) east of the Welsh border, it has a mixed Welsh and English heritage. Many street names are Welsh, such as this passageway viewed from Willow Street. The name sign on the wall shows Clawdd Du whereas the two plaques on the wall, recording the restoration of the passageway, show Clawdd Ddu.
