Wood anemones on Racecourse Common
They are on open common land rather than a wooded glade but these flowers are doing well amongst the bracken and turf.

On part of Old Racecourse Common near Oswestry
I enjoy the views eastwards off Racecourse Common towards the plains of Shropshire and Cheshire but the Welsh hills towards Llansilin really speak to me - greener, higher, steeper, more engaging and more rewarding they say "Go west man".
