All too often a private house will be prefaced with 'The Old .....' indicating that yet another public house has closed forever. However, to me, this pub has exactly the opposite look.

Texel ewes and lambs
These sheep have got used to being fed during the earlier bad weather and now any human means another feed, some have already realised I was a lost cause and are beginning to wander off. The grass is just beginning to grow and there is plenty of quality feed for both ewes and their lambs.
