For film buffs - This is the village location for the film 'An Englishman went up a hill & came down a mountain'. The hill concerned is just south-east of the village and is far from being a mountain as in the UK it needs to be 600 metres, that's about 2000 ft in old money. The railway station used in the film is miles away at Hampton Loade on the Severn Valley Railway.
