Minafon cottage
The exact age of Minafon is subject to a certain amount of speculation, but it's unusual for Llanrhaeadr in being partially timber-framed, in an area where most of the vernacular architecture is rubblestone. It was Grade II listed https://britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/300081835-minafon-llanrhaeadr-ym-mochnant#.XQt6EYhKhPY in 2003. Surviving interior features include a large bread oven, associated with the hearth/fireplace.

Maesgwyn cottage
Located in Church Street, Maesgwyn is a mid-19th century partial remodelling of an earlier cottage, which attracted a Grade II listing https://britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/300081828-maesgwyn-llanrhaeadr-ym-mochnant#.XQt4R4hKhPY in 2003.

Llanrhaeadr-ym-Mochnant Public Hall
A new build from 2012. A statue of Bishop William Morgan stands in front. A local lad made good, he translated the Bible into Welsh (1588) and is portrayed holding a copy. He would not, however, have worn a mitre, as portrayed.
