Chell's Building Supplies
This short, unnamed, cul-de-sac leads to Chell's Building Supplies yard and what looks like an accident repair centre. According to their sign on the wall of Image they are open eight days of the week, but that does not appear to include Sundays and Bank Holidays.

Charter Veterinary Surgeons

The Guvnors gents hairdressers, with WAGS (Women And Gents Salon) just behind it. The road also leads to Chell's Builders Merchants who claim to be open 8 days a week, strangely they were closed today - but then it was a Bank Holiday!

George VIth letterbox
This wall mounted letterbox is from the reign of George the sixth, between 1936 and 1952, it was manufactured by W T Allen. The box is built into the wall of one of the houses along Congleton Road and can be seen in Image
