The Biddulph Valley Way was once a railway line that is now a very popular track used by walkers, cyclists and horse riders.

Continuation of Wharf Road
This is the little used section of Wharf Road that leads from Image to the old railway line. Where presumably there would have been a sort of loading and unloading platform for goods on and off the trains, hence the name Wharf.

Moth caterpillar webs
These bushes appear to be thickly coated with spiders' webs, but they have actually been spun by moth caterpillars. Although a bit north of their range they look a bit like Lackey Moth webs, but unfortunately there no larvae present to make a definite identification. For a close-up of one of the webs see Image
