Alsager, The Lodge
Public house at the corner of Crewe and Station Roads; internally, two simple, traditional rooms, wooden panelling and open fires. The pub specialises in beers from micro-breweries: at my visit, Kelham Island Fairytale, Oakham Citra and Whims Flower Power were on offer. Listed in the 2013 Good Beer Guide.
