Midwinter Pottery
I believe that I have identified and located this with the aid of the Potteries History Society. It was demolished in the 1990s and has been replaced by modern apartment blocks, one called Midwinter Court. Shelton Steelworks in the background has also been demolished now.

Olivers Mill, Burslem
A working mill supplying the potteries of Stoke and operated by WBB Minerals, In the distance are the preserved calcining kilns.

Oliver's Mill, Newport Lane, Burslem
This is still a working mill producing raw material for the pottery industry. It retains three preserved calcining kilns,one of bottle form. this is used for calcining stone or bone and not for firing pots (there appears to be confusion as to what's a bottle oven and what's not).
