St John the Baptist Church, Keele
The present church was built 1870 and it is a Grade II listing. The present church is believed to have been preceded by one built by the Knights Templar in the 12th century.

The Village & Sneyd Arms
The street signs in Keele declare this road to be "The Village". The unpronounceable Arms is really not a bad boozer at all with a fair selection of Real Ale. It has its own U Tube video! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ImHrWyBq8Mo

Keele Management Centre car park in the evening sun
The reason this shot was taken in the evening sun is that I had broken down for the third time this week, and was waiting for the rescue services to tow me home. You'll notice that two of the few cars still remaining are Renault Clios, as is mine - perhaps they have broken down too!

Keele: road junction outside the University campus
In the background is the Old School http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/4375023 and in front of it is Keele Road. The photographer is standing on Three Mile Lane which meets Keele Road at the T-junction. The road leading off to the right is Keele Drive which is the entrance to the University on the western side.

This bus stop is right outside the western entrance of Keele University, and is rarely without its complement of waiting students. I managed to snap it on a quiet Saturday afternoon.
