Newcastle-under-Lyme: former car showroom on Higherland
J.T.Burke's Higherland Garage showroom and workshops were built in 1953. The building has since been clad in modern materials, and a first floor added above the now boarded-up showroom windows. In more recent years it was a Randles Suzuki dealership. On 23rd October 2015 it reopened as a Tesco Express http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/4713496 .

Newcastle-under-Lyme: new Tesco Express on Higherland
This is the latest incarnation of J.T.Burke's Higherland Garage showroom and workshops, built in 1953. The building was later clad in modern materials, and a first floor added. It was a Randles Suzuki dealership before becoming derelict for several years (see http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/4433470 ). It reopened as a Tesco Express on 23rd October 2015.
