Cliffe Vale Pottery
This site has largely been cleared and only the central part survived yesterday, rather knocked about and covered in scaffolding.

Cliffe Vale Pottery
This site is now largely housing but I think this section is being retained although it is difficult to tell under the scaffolding. Two bottle ovens have also been kept between two blocks of flats.

Cliffe Vale Pottery
Was Caradon Twyfords. These two listed bottle ovens survive alongside modern accommodation. Most of the works, apart from some of the frontage, has been demolished.

Two restored calcining kilns
They are on the site of the former Cliffe Vale potteries, built in 1887 by T.W. Twyford. The kilns are next to the Trent & Mersey Canal.

Steam engine by J Browett, Lindley (1931) Ltd, Letchworth. Built c1935 and scrapped in the period 1995-1998. This was of c150 horsepower.
