Canal services and museum at Etruria in Stoke-on-Trent
Looking south-east as the Caldon Canal meanders towards Hanley Park, Endon and Froghall.
On the right are boaters' water points and other services, by The Etruria Industrial Museum. This has very restricted opening times so enquire first before going there. On the left, the statue of James Brindley presides.

Statue of James Brindley, Etruria Junction, Stoke-on-Trent
A fine statue by Colin Melbourne of the great man overlooking the junction of the Caldon canal with the Trent and Mersey Canal. The statue was made in 1990, about the same time as the housing development it graces.
