Egyptian motifs on former cinema at Church Street, Stoke
Location: 37/38 Church Street, Stoke - On the upper façade of this former cinema; now almost derelict but ground floor is occupied Date of installation: c.1930s This 1930s cinema has a decorative relief cartouche on the centre of the upper façade. The cartouche is a winged circle flanked by a pair of cobras, the motif is Egyptian, the circle representing the sun.

Another Gift - stainless steel sculpture
Location: Corner of Kingsway and Glebe Street, Stoke Date of installation: 2005 Artist: Liz Lemon Commissioned by: Stoke on Trent City Council A startling piece of art – sited on the corner of Kingsway and Glebe Street, Stoke – is made from stainless steel. Called Another Gift, the work consists of twists and turns of steel stretching to around five metres in height.

Monument to PC John Taylor at Kingsway, Stoke
Location: Kingsway, Stoke Date of installation: c.1986 Commissioned by: Staffordshire Police Authority John Taylor was fatally injured when pushed from a building while arresting a burglar. The John Taylor Memorial Committee was set up following the death of PC John Taylor who died on duty on 23 November 1986. They award a serving police officer or member of the Special Constabulary who has made an outstanding contribution to the community, performed an act of bravery, or a sporting achievement.
