Stoke-upon-Trent - Minster churchyard
The arches were reassembled by architect Charles Lynam in c.1881 from the ruins of an earlier church. The railed area in front of the arches is the tomb of Josiah Wedgwood I. The present parish church (seen behind the arches) was designed by James Trubshaw and Johnson, built from 1826 and consecrated on October 6, 1830. See: http://www.thepotteries.org for more details.
