Stoke Railway Station
The Victorian station buildings were constructed by John Jay to the design of H.A. Hunt of London, using an architectural style referred to as ‘robust Jacobean manor-house. It was opened on 9 October 1848.

Josiah Wedgwood
This statue of Josiah Wedgwood - whose name will be forever associated with the Potteries - stands outside the North Stafford Hotel in Winton Square, opposite the station. The artist was by Edward Davis and it was erected in 1863.

North Stafford Hotel
