Josiah Wedgwood in front of the North Stafford Hotel
The hotel was built in 1848 to serve patrons of the railway station opposite, and the statue to the town's famous son erected in 1862. Both are listed Grade II.

Josiah Wedgwood
This statue of Josiah Wedgwood - whose name will be forever associated with the Potteries - stands outside the North Stafford Hotel in Winton Square, opposite the station. The artist was by Edward Davis and it was erected in 1863.
