No Cricket here
A winter view of Caverswall Cricket pitch, with the incongruous notice satying "No Ball Games on this grass area". I presume it does NOT refer to the actual cricket pitch.

The Club house
Caverswall Cricket Club club house. I was told it is open at some time all 365 days in the year as a social centre for the area but is of course especially busy on weekends in the summer when it hosts several matches each weekend.

Too cold for cricket
On the last day of January with both snow and frost lying heavily on the ground it is no surprise there is no Cricket taking place at Caverswall Cricket Ground.
