Seven up.
This shot shows seven bottle ovens in one go. I wonder if you can do better? The one on the left is Hudson & Middleton, the pair are Caroline China and the four to the right are the little grouping around Short Street.

Enson Works, Chelson Street, Longton
This grade-II-listed, late 19th century red-brick building on the corner of Chelson Street and Normacot Road formed part of the Enson pottery works. Three of the four remaining bottle kilns of the works are visible around the yard behind the building (see
Image). The arched entrance is typical of works in this area. The elaborate street furniture (lamps, bollards, signs) visible in this shot are in contrast with the run-down nature of the area

Core Technology Centre, Normacot Road, Longton
The Core Technology Centre is a recognised regeneration project supported by the Heritage Lottery Fund, and works to restore the Grade-II listed Enson Pottery Works. The site features four of the original kilns (not seen from this angle). In the foreground is The America Hotel, a pub that was recently taken apart brick-by-brick and rebuilt as its roof had collapsed and posed a serious risk to the public.

CoRE - Longton
The strap line is talent, training and technology under one sustainable roof. This development includes refurbishment of the four bottle ovens in the former Enson Works.
This morning was bedeviled with scaffolding as the Gladstone Pottery was also partly festooned with the stuff.
