Red Lion, Bucknall (2017)
The Red Lion Hotel located in Bucknall, Stoke-on-Trent, is a pub/inn which has a substantial amount of history. It was closed in January 2017, following a sale to new buyers, and the building has since been subject to arson attacks. The pub opened in the 17th century and is said to have once provided accommodation to the infamous highwayman Dick Turpin. The building/land has previously been used as a court house, prison, hotel and pub/inn. It has previously been reported as a listed building, but is now derelict.
