Otherton Boat Haven near Penkridge in Staffordshire
The marina opened in 1996, and even by 2009 appears to need tidying up, and there aren't very many boats moored. Aerial images in 2020 show the marina is well filled.

Entrance to Otherton Boat Haven, Staffordshire
Before the present recession, marinas were being built in many places, and some work is still continuing. This one off the Staffordshire and Worcestershire Canal opened in the 1990s and appears to have permanent mooring space for nearly a hundred narrowboats. It has been called Otherton Boat Haven since 2006. British Waterways is encouraging this trend as it tries to reduce the number of boats moored permanently on the canals.
