Bottle Lodge, Tixall
This lodge was formerly known as The Upper Lodge The chimney was straightened when the building was restored for use as rented accommodation, with single rooms upstairs and downstairs. In the 19th century it was used to house the local shepherd with his children sleeping in the farm buildings on the other side of the road.
