This stainless steel sculpture reflects the nautical theme to the Stafford Business Park, where it and others can be found. The unit behind is called Anson House.

Anson House, Stafford Technology Park. This is a new business park off Beaconside, Stafford bringing new business and employment to the town. It appears that most of the buildings have a nautical theme of which the stainless steel reflects (another image of the artwork submitted).

Renamed as the Staffordshire Polytechnic in 1991 it became the Staffordshire University in 1994. From 1965 the Staffordshire College of Technology ran one of the first degree courses in Computing and for several years was the home of a working DEUCE (Digital Electronic Universal Computing Engine) computer. At the time this photograph was taken many students at the polytechnic lived in a tower block on the other side of the town called Brooke Court (which was adjacent to Image). This building is a typical example of offices found in Staffordshire Technology Park. It happens to be occupied by Ascot Solutions, a software company who supplies Electronic Document Management Systems.
