Leaving Salt over Casey Bridge, heading for the A51
The river trent flows under this bridge and at this point is not much wider than a canal, it picks up a lot more water by the time it reaches Shugborough.

The Holly Bush, Salt
The Holly Bush is said to be the second oldest inn in England to have been granted a licence with origins that go back to 1190. Such claims should be treated with a healthy dose of scepticism but the thatched village pub certainly exudes plenty of charm.
