Path leading on to new housing development
The houses at the end of the path are on Swiftbrook Close, a name which preserves the name of a since demolished hospital building nearby Image In the distance is the water tower of the former St George's asylum, Grade II listed https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1195385

The Lodge
The Lodge, as part of the old St George's Hospital complex, is Grade II listed, and bears the date 1882 on the entrance porch. It has been converted to a two-bedroom dwelling.

Past The Lodge onto Corporation Street
This is the north-western edge of the St George's Hospital site. The Lodge, as part of the old hospital complex, is Grade II listed, and bears the date 1882 on the entrance porch. It has been converted to a two-bedroom dwelling.

St George's Hospital, Stafford: Swiftbrook House
This was formerly the HQ of child & adolescent mental health services (CAMHS) for the South Staffordshire and Shropshire Health Care Trust, but appears now to be empty and disused. Update: Swiftbrook House was duly demolished, together with half-a-dozen other buildings on the eastern edge of the site, and CAMHS services are now provided from a new building called The Bridge only about a hundred yards away Image Image shows where Swiftbrook House used to be.

The Bridge, St George's Hospital
The Bridge is the base for the hospital Trust's Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS), which until about 2018 were formerly based only a hundred or so yards away in Swiftbrook House, now demolished - see Image
