Looking down Kennedy Way towards Primepoint 14. All through the development process both developers and planners assured local residents that the buildings would not dominate their skyline. The proof of the pudding, as they say, is in the eating.

An unusual name for a pub, in fact this is possibly the only one. According to Webster's Dictionary a Luck Penny is a small sum given back for luck to one who pays money for something. Historically the practice was often associated with cattle and horse sales.

'We've sold it' proclaims Dourish and Day, a local estate agent. Evidently the conversion of the front garden into a car park didn't deter the buyers. This view is close to the junction with Eccleshall Road, with Brisbane Road leading off to the right.
