A53 trunk road
This stretch of the A53 runs from Etruria roundabout to Festival Park roundabout. Further up on this road are the new Sentinel offices and the new Festival Park marina, which was kept on from when the garden festival ended back in 1986.

Denis O’Connor’s sculpture ‘Privilege’ stands on the corner of Cavour Street and Etruria Old Road alongside the A53 through Etruria and was unveiled at the end of July 2005. It depicts both traditional and new industries in the city of Stoke-on-Trent and is visible from the A53 one of the main gateways into town.

Steel sculpture at Etruria
