Hanley Bus Station, Victoria Roundabout, Stoke-on-Trent
The lovely building on the left is the new Stoke-on-Trent City Centre Bus Station; opened in 2013. Costing £15m, and designed by the architects Grimshaw (who also designed the Eden Project in Cornwall), it replaced the 1970s bus station, which was said to be a contender for the grimmest building in the Midlands http://www.thepotteries.org/photo_wk/212.htm

Bus leaving Hanley Bus Station ? 1970
Despite being a relatively modern bus station with some interesting styling, it has since been completely rebuilt https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/5706483 . The bus belongs to Stoniers of Goldenhill, one of several small operators running local services in the Potteries area, a typical feature of coal mining areas across the UK. The Bentilee estate was a large inter-war development to house the local mining community rather than the ceramics industry. The bus, a Leyland PD3A with Roe bodywork new in 1962, was bought second hand from a similar small operator in the coal mining area south-east of Leeds. This is one of a series of views featuring buses in the 60s, 70s, and 80s. http://www.geograph.org.uk/search.php?i=137652761
