Caldon Canal west of Joiner's Square in Stoke-on-Trent
2009 image. Many old industrial buildings have survived so far. Much of the land along the Caldon Canal is due for redevelopment into housing or smaller factory units. The derelict land on the left now has two tower blocks on it (Dickson House/Park Vista) belonging to the Stoke-on-Trent Housing Society.

Caldon Canal near Joiner's Square, Stoke-on-Trent
This shows the Caldon Canal east of Hanley Park, looking north as the Caldon Canal meanders towards Stockton Brook, Endon, Cheddleton and Froghall.
Modern apartments have replaced industry off to the left, but on the right, the buildings belonging Endeka Ceramics Ltd used to accommodate the manufacturer of raw materials for that industry. I think they stopped trading c2016. Maybe someone local can inform us what is happening there now.
