The roundabout was recently built to serve the Sainsbury's superstore which opened in January 2013: turning right at the roundabout takes you to the new store.

The roundabout, on the edge of Leek, was built to serve the Sainsbury's superstore which opened in January 2013. The view beyond the roundabout is new: there was once an industrial site immediately ahead; now, in the distance, is the new store.
