A factory building in Mill Street, opposite the junction with Belle Vue Road. In the centre at the top of the building, a stone shows the year of construction and presumably the original owners: "AD 1929 WA & PA". (The resolution of the photo is not enough to make it legible here.) The building is the home of the company Supersport (Leisure Shirts) Ltd.

Brindley Mill, Leek
This shows the gear room at ground level. The pit wheel and wallower are seen but the great spur wheel is on the floor above as the stones are overdrift. This shows two of the tentering beams - on the left is a wooden beam and on the right is a cast iron beam. Out of sight is a third beam that is wooden and appears older, being curved and adze cut. One set of stones was being demonstrated and was grinding intermittently.
