That is according to the plaque above the door that also gives the date 1870. It has now been converted to flats and is called Wesleyan Court.

Wesleyan Chapel and Ragged School
Ragged Schools were charitable schools dedicated to the free education of destitute children in 19th century. Built in 1870 the building has now been converted into apartments.

Shade Mill, Leek
The building on the left is the former Shade Mill that has now been converted to apartments. the big block behind is the Big Mill of 1857 that is both disused and a listed building. The truncated chimney is also associated with Big Mill.
